It's not like we're holding our breath or anything....

Not holding our breath, but certainly going without sleep as we stalk the net for anything that will satisfy our craving and yearning for new twi-crack. So, thanks to the gang at ROBsessed for this little gem... gotta love a bit of RPatzz british speak don't ya?! (Don't forget to scroll to the bottom of the page and turn the music off so you can hear his hotness speak!!)

Excuse me Joanne Hawkins, I think you missed something...

Us. Big People. Grown Ups. Adults. Mature Ones. We don't care what you call us, we are just annoyed that we seem to have been forgotten and, well, we are offended. As soon as I saw the intro to your article in this weekend's Sunday Magazine I felt it. You know, that familiar twinge one experiences when you realise you have been overlooked, forgotten or downright ignored. You claim that our Robward has been cutting his teeth "on a role that melts millions of teenage hearts". Well that, my dear, is where you failed us. We are here too!

Yes, yes, we all know that "Teenagers the world over fell in love with Edward Cullen (the vampire) and Bella Swan (the squeeze)" and the fact that the Twilight Saga lives in the children's section at Borders ensures that this will continue to be the case. But, with a little research Joanne, you would have learned that for every swooning teenage girl out there there is a woman in her 30's that has been bitten by Twilight in a big way. Even you admit that "teenagers can be a fickle bunch" and they, we are sure, will soon outgrow their fascination with Twilight the way we outgrew our obsessive viewing of Top Gun, The Breakfast Club and Pretty In Pink. However, we are all grown up now and are no longer ruled by our flighty teenage fantasies. We have developed qualities like loyalty, committment and devotion and we assure you that when the screaming Teenage fans move onto the next big thing, we will be off finding a quiet corner, reaching into our handbags and pulling out our favourite, well thumbed copy of Twilight to calm the nerves and reassure us that good DOES triumph over evil, Prince Charming DOES exist and that EVERYONE gets to live happily ever after!

Who turned the Lights On?

Oh, that's right. We did. Like the twi-crack addicts we are we just couldn't resist the 4 minutes plus of gut wrenching heartache that was the beakup scene. Yeah, we watched it, which means the blackout is over. Call us weak, call us spoilers... anything, we really don't care. Our eyes were fixed on the screen, we gasped, held our breath and cried and.... it was AWESOME!Give us more, more, MORE!!!

Self Imposed New Moon Blackout

Yes, that's right... I am going to resist temptation. Or at least try my very hardest to. It all started with this morning's Tweets linking to the most amazing leaked footage so far.. The End. Not the end of the movie, 'The End' as in the third chapter in New Moon. The hardest chapter to read and the one that makes me cry and breaks my heart every single time I read it. So, I follow the link and there it is. 4 minutes and 34 seconds of hotness and heartache just begging me, calling me, willing me to click play. Just one little click..

So I did. I clicked play, and then my heart lept and dropped to the floor as I saw Bella's face, anxious and yet hopeful that all will be fine. "Hi" she says with a smile that screams "Don't leave me, it's no big deal, who cares if your brother tried to kill me!". And then...he speaks, his voice painfully leading Bella to The End. "Come take a walk with me" he says, and then turns to the forest.

But it was the music, the mournful tones of Bon Iver and St Vincent's Roslyn that stopped me in my tracks and made me catch my breath. It's perfect. And it's why I stopped watching. I was like Edward in the 'first kiss' scene from Twilight... throwing myself backwards, away from this thing that has tempted me so and made me incapable of rational thinking. I sent out an array of tweets and sms's begging for support, a self staged intervention so to speak. There are some things that can't be rushed, and this is one of them.

So, thanks to Fi, Amy and Ally who all rushed to offer words of wisdom and sage advice. I know what I have to do, who I have to become. I need to summon my inner Cullen, resist temptation and be patient.

It's only for 27 days afterall...

It's been a while...

Yes, Yes, we know... we disappeared. Vanished. We are sorry, but we had things to do...

In fact, we have been busy... verrry busy... drooling and swooning over the plethora of pics, clips, tracks and trailers that appear via tweets and posts every single second of the day. We have been busy buying twi-merch to help fill the hole that is created by the endless wait for New Moon. We have also been busy reading, and re-reading. One of was even busy screaming and staring into the emereald green eyes of "His Hotness" at a little shop In SoHo New York .

But, we are back. And the countdown is on twipals! In less than 30 days we will be graced with the glory that is the next movie in the saga and, well... We.Can't Wait.

So, we are going to make it our business to fill your days with as much new Twi as we possibly can so that the wait for our beloved movie seems a little less painful.

Lets start with the latest trailer to hit the LCD screen that is my overworked computer monitor... ENJOY!
